In addition to teaching, I have always worked as a freelancer or as a designer / concept developer. I worked on (online) campaigns, advertisements, e-learning tools, websites, apps, illustrations, comics and interactive installations for customers such as DeMuseumfabriek, Ben & Jerry's, Vodafone, Oxfam Novib, Swirls and many others.

I also try to be busy doing innovative and practical research into new interface and interaction possibilities combined with a love for design and playful experiences.
